9/7-9/10 College and NFL Wagers

Here we go! The first weekend of college and NFL football. It’s betting season. Let’s get some momentum going. It’s a busy day so here are my picks.

Memphis at Central Florida: O/U 67; This game was moved up to Friday night because of Hurricane Irma. The weather should not be too bad in Orlando at this time. Both teams can score and neither have a decent defense. Pick: o67 for .50 unit.

Oklahoma at Ohio State: O/U 64.5; This game could be a 41-38 shootout or a tight lower scoring game. They don’t call it betting for nothing. Pick: u64.5 for 1 unit.

Louisville at North Carolina and Auburn at Clemson: Louisville -9.5 & AUB/CLEM O/U 53.5; Louisville’s Lamar Jackson should have a great game against a North Carolina team who lost their opener. I’m looking forward to watching the Tigers take on the Tigers in Death Valley. I need to experience a Clemson home game before I die. I LOVE their entrance. Hopping on buses to get to the other side of the stadium, then rubbing on Howard’s Rock as they run down the hill. That is probably my favorite college football entrance.

Back to the game. I see this as an old school defense struggle. Pick: 6 pt teaser; Louisville -3.5 and u59.5 for 1 unit.

Kansas City at New England and Pittsburgh at Cleveland: New England -8.5 and Pittsburgh -9; The Pats are 34-10 in their last 44 games ATS and the Steelers are playing the Browns. I wanted some insurance so I took another teaser. Pick: 6 pt teaser; New England -2.5 and Pittsburgh -3 for 2 units.

Pittsburgh at Cleveland: O/U 47; I don’t see this as being a close game. Additionally, I don’t see Mike Tomlin running up the score on a divisional opponent. Unless this game gets out of hand, I like the under. Pick: u47 for 1 unit.

Seattle at Green Bay: Green Bay -3; Can the Pack keep their win streak against the Seahawks going? I hope so. Pick: Green Bay -3 for 1 unit.
